This concept involves building up capital in an education fund, using a Excelsior 1000 series Educator investment product . The uniqueness of this concept is that the investment is owned by the Company, who pay the contributions, however, the nominated child is the beneficiary. The proceeds of the investment are company owned and will be paid out to the University, Technical Facility or other educational institution for the benefit of the child.

Developed with the assistance of DRG OUTSOURCING, (a KwaZulu Natal based human resource and BEE advisory service) and DRG SIYAYA, (a BEE Verification Agency) the rules of the CEFI, have been compiled so as to be consistent with the requirements of the Broad-based BEE Codes of Good Practice. This is an amazing initiative to link the devastating need to provide educational support for disadvantaged children, whilst simultaneously linking the conditions of such support to the requirements of Codes 700 and 701, and allowing points to be scored on these scorecard elements.
